Singapore CCTV Battery Project – 12.8V 30Ah LiFePO4
Two battery configurations supplied for a CCTV project in Singapore, featuring a compact ABS enclosure and a blue PVC-wrapped battery pack.
MANLY supplied two 12.8V 30Ah LiFePO4 battery configurations for this Singapore CCTV project. Both configurations provide a nominal energy capacity of 384Wh, with different enclosure designs, dimensions and connection arrangements.

THE PROJECT
Project Overview
This project involved the supply of two 12.8V 30Ah LiFePO4 battery configurations for a CCTV application in Singapore.
The battery configurations share the same nominal voltage and capacity but differ in their mechanical structure and external connections. One configuration uses a rigid ABS plastic enclosure with M6 terminals, while the other uses a blue PVC heat-shrink sleeve with positive and negative output wires.
These configurations illustrate different battery packaging approaches that can be considered during CCTV equipment integration.

- Connection
- M6 terminals
This configuration uses a rigid ABS plastic enclosure with M6 terminals. Its enclosed structure provides a defined battery form factor for equipment integration where a rigid housing and terminal connections are required.

Configuration B
12.8V 30Ah LiFePO4 Battery – PVC-Wrapped Pack
- Battery chemistry
- LiFePO4
- Nominal voltage
- 12.8V
- Nominal capacity
- 30Ah

- 185 × 148 × 75 mm
- Approximate weight
- 3.1 kg
- Connection
- Positive and negative output wires
- Wire length
- 180 mm
The second configuration uses a blue PVC heat-shrink sleeve with separate positive and negative output wires. Its dimensions provide a different physical form factor from the ABS version. The supplied specification also documents waterproof adhesive applied during assembly; this does not establish an ingress-protection rating.
CONFIGURATION DETAILS
Two Configurations for Different Integration Requirements
Battery integration involves more than nominal voltage and capacity. Enclosure dimensions, available installation space and electrical connection methods can influence battery-pack selection.
In this Singapore project, the two supplied configurations illustrate different mechanical approaches:
- ABS housing: a rigid plastic enclosure with M6 terminal connections.
- PVC-wrapped pack: a heat-shrink-wrapped battery with separate positive and negative output wires and a different dimensional profile.
Both configurations have a nominal voltage of 12.8V and a rated capacity of 30Ah. For new projects, battery dimensions, charging parameters, discharge current and connection arrangements should be evaluated against the actual equipment requirements before confirming a configuration.

DOCUMENTED SCOPE
Project Information
This case study documents the battery configurations supplied for a CCTV project in Singapore. The available project records confirm the battery chemistry, nominal voltage, rated capacity, enclosure types, physical dimensions and connection arrangements described above.
Specific CCTV equipment models, operating loads, installation conditions and system-level runtime data are not included in the available project documentation.
For new surveillance applications, MANLY evaluates battery configurations according to the customer’s confirmed electrical and mechanical requirements.
