A Singapore customer needed two different battery platforms: a low-profile pack for a robot and a higher-output pack for a heavy-duty AGV. Both systems have been delivered, installed and are operating reliably.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

One voltage platform, two different operating priorities.

The project review focused on the installation envelope, required energy, continuous current, connector arrangement, charging path and integration with each machine. The two batteries share a 51.2V architecture, but their mechanical proportions and output requirements are intentionally different.

No customer name, order quantity or unverified performance figures are published in this case.

01 · ROBOT BATTERY

Low-profile energy for the robot envelope.

The 160 mm-high metal enclosure keeps the 7.68kWh system comparatively low while providing the energy and 100A continuous current required by the platform. The external Anderson connector supports straightforward integration and service access.

02 · HEAVY-DUTY AGV BATTERY

Higher energy and discharge current for the AGV load.

The 10.24kWh metal-housing platform raises continuous discharge capability to 200A. Separate charge and discharge connectors simplify the two power paths and support the heavier-duty electrical architecture.

Engineering details that determine fit and reliability.

For robotics projects, the voltage and capacity are only the starting point. The host machine and its duty cycle determine the final battery.

Mechanical envelope

Maximum length, width and height, mounting points, service clearance and connector access.

Load profile

Continuous current, acceleration peaks, operating hours, duty cycle and required runtime.

Charging path

Charging voltage, maximum charge current, charger or dock arrangement and connector separation.

System integration

Cable routing, connector type, controller compatibility, interface needs and operating environment.

DELIVERED RESULT

Both systems are operating reliably.

Both customized battery systems were delivered to the customer in Singapore and installed in their respective robotic platforms. The batteries are currently operating reliably in use.
